Amuse Yourself by Visiting These Amusement Parks

Let me start by stating the not-so-obvious – Amusement parks are probably as entertaining for adults as they are for children. Visits to various amusement and water parks made not only my childhood more memorable, but added more excitement to my monotonous adult life as well.
And let me tell you; not all people have the courage to ride every ride out there, because more often than not, the most thrilling ones are also the ones piquing fear and anxiety. They are only for the ones with a super strong heart. Andy Hayes, a travel and photography enthusiast, has visited many amusement parks in the US. And on of the boring days when he doesn’t have much to do, he doesn’t even mind making a solo trip to an adventure park. So here is a short list of his favourite amusement parks:

1.Magic Kingdom

The first of the four theme parks in Disney World in Bay Lake, Florida is magical in every sense. It’s slogan, ‘The Most Magical Place on Earth’ resonates with every child and the hidden child in every adult alike. With Main Street, USA; Adventureland; Frontierland; Liberty Square; Fantasy Square; and Tomorrowland, Magic Kingdom is divided into six themed lands. People literally travel from across the world to visit this bewitching land, and Andy Hayes from Oregon just feels lucky to be living in the US.

2.Disneyland Park

Visiting this place is every single child’s greatest dream. No kidding! Want to know an interesting fact? According to Wikipedia, Walt Disney personally supervised the design and construction of Disneyland Park situated in California, US. Fascinating, isn’t it? Just the mere sight of this wonderful place can make all problems seem distant. When lit up at night, it looks exceptionally beautiful and just writing about Disneyland has rekindled my childhood fantasy of visiting Disneyland.

3.Islands of Adventure

A big fan of the Harry Potter series, Andy Hayes from Oregon State Treasury visited Islands of Adventure after the seventh themed island, ‘The Wizarding World of Harry Potter’, officially opened its gates. It’s the perfect destination for children who never stop wishing for their favourite superheroes, dinosaurs, cartoons, etc. to come alive. With 3 water rides, 5 roller coasters (yes, 5), it contains a total of 16 rides; so that when you visit this place with your loved ones, you leave feeling refreshed after a heavy dose of excitement, entertainment, and fulfilment.
