Police said the boy and a friend jumped two 6-foot fences and entered a restricted area at Batman The Ride. The first fence surrounds the park propery, and the second surrounds Batman. His friend was not injured.

The boys left the park for lunch. Instead of entering again through the park gates, the two took a shortcut, police said.

One report says the boy jumped and tried to grab someone's feet on Batman The Ride. Riders' feet dangle below the vehicles on Batman.

Police said the boy was decapitated.

No one on the ride was injured.
