11/26/2003 Plans were shelved Monday to build the world's largest themepark complex in Dublin.
Although the theme park would create approximately 65,000 jobs in the Dublin area, plans were halted because the proposal was vague. The plan included not one but three theme parks with various hotels and a monorail linking the area to Dublin. There may not be a park built in Ireland anytime soon now since the area was the developers' best bet at building in the country at all.
