Another CF Park..... Yes this could happen at any park but CF parks have been getting bad press lately.

Glad they caught the guys.

Of all things to steal...a cell phone?

This isn't 1995 people.

Maybe it was an iPhone, that I could see someone stealing.

Its still pointless. Most phones or maybe every phone these days have GPS tracking.

My phone was stoled in Orlando last year and with the help of the GPS they found the guy in under 45 min.

This has been one bad week for Cedar Fair parks. Cedar Point, Dorney, and all the others should up their security just to prevent another incident.

It goes from one chain to the next. First it was Six Flags, now Cedar Fair.

That is kinda desperate to get a cell-phone. If the thief's parents said no for them to get him one, he should get a job to get his own money.

Well....the poor soul that got held at knife point has a good story for his grand kids now.

There's no point in stealing cell phones unless:

A) You want to cause someone trouble by taking their personal belongings.

or

B) You're incredibily stupid and don't know that cell phones can both be tracked and cancelled, therefore, leaving you with nothing of much value.

I think huge upgrades in the security department might be in order for the future seasons for many parks.

As much as everyone might like to think this, security can't prevent crime from happening. The only way to prevent it from happening on property would be profiling, which is illegal to do, and it still doesn't prevent anything. At bothKnotts and VF, the suspects were arrested, which mens that they are actually doing their jobs. How many police departments have that good of an arrest rate?
