Disneyland, CA Dining Options Within Walking Distance From the Disneyland Resort

There are many dining options within walking distance when you are spending time at the Disneyland Resort in California. If you do not have a car, there are still many choices of restaurants that you can visit.

Both theme parks in the resort have a variety of "counter service" restaurants as well as some "sit down" full service restaurants. To view your options for either Disneyland Park or Disney's California Adventure Park, go to the Disneyland Resort website. You can access this website at Disneyland.disney.go.com. At the top of the page, click on "Where to Eat".

This will bring up your choices for in park dining, hotel dining, character dining and Downtown Disney dining. Some of these restaurants will require dining reservations. You can generally make reservations up to 60 days in advance. One of our favorite full service restaurants in Disneyland is the Blue Bayou Restaurant. This restaurant is located in New Orleans Square and is in the same building as the attraction, "Pirates of the Caribbean". The restaurant overlooks a bayou, and you can watch the attraction's boats go by as you eat.

In Disney's California Adventure Park, our favorite full service restaurant is at Ariel's Grotto. They offer a Princess character meal for breakfast and lunch. They also offer dinner as part of the "World of Color" dining options. Downtown Disney offers many dining options, too. You can view your choices by logging onto the website mentioned above. One of our favorite restaurants here is the Rain Forest Cafe.

If you want to take a break from the theme parks and / or a break for your pocket-book, there are many dining options right across the street from the Disneyland Resort, on Harbor Blvd. Some of these options include McDonald's, Millie's Restaurant and Bakery, and a Denny's, among others.
