Disneyland Resort Reimagines Downtown Disney District in 2018

2018 will bring exciting changes to the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort. Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire , by ILMxLAB and The VOID, is a new, groundbreaking hyper-reality experience that opened in January. The first-of-its-kind immersive experience transports guests deep into the Star Wars universe, allowing them to walk freely and untethered throughout a multi-sensory experience with sight, sound, touch, smell and motion and go undercover as Stormtroopers.

Splitsville Luxury Lanes, a dynamic recreation destination offering a unique combination of dining, drinks, bowling and entertainment, also joined the Downtown Disney District earlier this year. Future additions include Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer, known for its award-winning burgers and signature CrazyShake™ milkshakes, and Ballast Point Brewing, a pioneer in the craft beer industry.
