Nearly 18 months to plan, The Wave combines the creativity of Walt Disney Imagineers and talented culinary staff for an innovative menu that is appetizing in a setting that is visually pleasing. Combining flavors from all over the world, the menu ranges from a multigrain Mickey-shaped waffle or eggs Benedict with choron sauce for breakfast, to a classic Reuben sandwich or a Mediterranean tuna salad for lunch, to a grilled marinated flank steak with chimichurri or linguini with Florida little neck clams and rock shrimp for Dinner.

Disney Dining Guests who enjoy a sweet treat will love the dessert menu. Each selection has three tasty choices that offer the perfect amount to indulge but not overwhelm. Ranging from a surprisingly delicious zucchini carrot cake with vanilla panna cotta to chocolate mousse with chocolate ganache to cheesecake with raspberry sauce, there’s bound to be something for everyone.

The Wave has the largest lounge in all of the Walt Disney World resorts, a posh spot to sample wines from countries in the Southern Hemisphere, such as Australia, New Zealand, Chile and Argentina. There are at least 75 different wines, with 45 that can be ordered by the glass. A trio of wines also can be ordered. They come served on a unique tray with information about each one.

Also offering organic beers and coffees, healthy food portions and eco-friendly straws, The Wave earns its name from the ideas it offers and not just its decorative elements, like the curves on the silverware or the water like design at the entrance.
