Loch Ness Monster 40th Anniversary

Loch Ness Monster 40th Anniversary

The first Loch Ness Monster sighting at Busch Gardens Williamsburg came in 1978, and “Nessie” has been thrilling riders for 40 years since. The iconic roller coaster celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2018, and Busch Gardens has festivities planned for the occasion including in-park discounts. “Nessie” was a “ride” of passage for many guests. In fact, more than 58 million riders have braved the Loch Ness Monster, the world’s only interlocking, double-looping roller coaster. The thrill ride is so revered that the American Coaster Enthusiasts designated it an ACE Roller Coaster Landmark.
