PHOTOS: New Production Central Store Now Open at Universal CityWalk Hollywood
Although Universal Studios Hollywood may still be closed, guests can now visit Production Central in its new second location in CityWalk.
The fan-favorite shop is located in the Upper Lot across from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter entrance in the park. It features apparel, toys and souvenirs from some favorite Universal movies and shows, as well as genuine props, movie posters and autographed Hollywood memorabilia. Now a new location has just opened in Universal CityWalk next to Mini Monster. This storefront was formerly Element and then IT’SUGAR pop-up shop, before reopening as Production Central today. Let’s take a look inside!
The store features racks of merchandise, some of which can be found down the avenue at the Studio Store and some of which is exclusive.
The vintage Universal Studios Hollywood collection is out in full force. Alongside the newer items is a selection of merch based on classic films like E.T., as seen here.
Merch from around the park, like these Jurassic Park souvenirs, can be found in Production Central at CityWalk.
Of course masks have become a staple in stores across CityWalk.
The Back to the Future 35th anniversary collection is available here as well.
In addition to the merchandise, shoppers can come away with a real piece of Hollywood history — like some Nike Automatic Tying Sneakers or a hoverboard from Back to the Future II.
Finding your favorite star’s autograph is a cinch here at Production Central.
Just in time for the Halloween season to begin, the Universal Monsters collection is back. This debuted last year and has found a home in Production Central inside the park. Now at this new location, guests can stock up on their favorite monster merch to scare in style.
These skateboard decks are a collaborative venture with The Hundreds. Multiple styles are available, and they are $95 each.
