Woman rushed to area hospital after near-drowning at SeaWorld San Antonio Sunday
A woman was transported from SeaWorld San Antonio’s Aquatica waterpark Sunday night following a near-drowning, according to the San Antonio Fire Department.
The individual was unresponsive when firefighters arrived a little after 8 p.m., Woody Woodward, SAFD spokesman, said.

The victim was transported to an area hospital and firefighters at the scene told media she was in “serious condition.”
KSAT 12 reported the individual was a middle-aged woman.
This incident follows a death at the waterpark last week, also on Sunday around 8 p.m., when a young girl was run over and killed in the parking lot. The girl was later identified as 5-year-old Michaela Tirado.
