A Magical Vacation To Walt Disney World For Families On A Budget

Nowadays, most people are looking for the all-inclusive deal when it comes to a vacation. Why not? Vacations are supposed to be relaxing, fun, and without any hassles, headaches, or stress. Cruise ships have shown how these models of all-inclusive packages have enhanced many vacations for their guests, one price, food, entertainment, and lodging.

Disney has really taken what they have learned from the Disney Cruise Line and applied those high standards to their resorts. Being a former Cast member at the Walt Disney World resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. I get asked a lot about the best deal. How can a family get the most of Disney World for the less amount of money?

Stay on property at one of Disney’s resort hotels. Disney World is offering package deals that include such perks as transportation from the airport where, your luggage is delivered from the Orlando airport without even going through baggage claim to preferred golf tee times.

You don’t need a car if you stay at Disney World, the least crowded times to visit the theme parks are late January, the week before Labor Day until mid-October, and from Thanksgiving until the middle of December.

Now of course Orlando has a lot to offer that said there are pros and cons to not renting a car. On the pro side, you don’t have to pay parking fees at each of Disney World’s four theme parks and can take the Walt Disney World transportation system to near the front door of every attraction. You don’t have to fumble with maps to figure out where you are going and can easily return with the kids in the middle of the day for a nap or a relaxing swim.

On the con side, without a car you are pretty much stuck inside Disney World unless you want to hire a cab to go to other Orlando area attractions such as Universal Studios, Sea World or Cape Canaveral. However, if your plan for a trip to the Sunshine State is Disney, right now the packages offered are impressive.

Personally, I love being inside the Disney World Complex. I have stayed at most of the resorts using family members Disney Vacation Club points. At Disney’s Boardwalk Resort you have a world-class amusement park style pool, water slide, midway games, ESPN Restaurant, Brewery, and can enjoy the view of Epcot’s Fireworks from your balcony. Imagine a vacation like this; can you really tag this experience as (lodging)? No! This is what Disney offers, family, memories, and magic all wrapped up in one amazing package that you could only experience.

I also love to take time and explore other resorts like Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Polynesian Resort and Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, all located next to the Magic Kingdom theme park and right on a monorail line. If you have the money, these luxury resorts would make for an enchanting stay.

In fact, Disney offers a variety of package options at its 23 hotels including value resorts, accommodations catering to kids, and adult-oriented properties such as The Boardwalk.

Packages are rated as value resort, moderate, deluxe and deluxe villas and are priced accordingly. There are some excellent package deals that include park passes, especially during value season. Also, one huge tip, I cannot stress it enough, utilize the Disney Dining Plan. The money you save using the Disney Dining Plan is massive and the quality and quantity of world-class Disney meals cannot be surpassed.
