The Article on Walt Disney Which I Found Very Interesting

Talk about Walt Disney, and there are thousands of great articles and write-ups about the man and his incredible works in the Internet today. But this one-“Walt ‘N Me” by Richard A. Cauldwell at the forum waltdisneyboards.com is very interesting to me. Not because it is one of the great write-ups that I’d came across; neither it is one of the most excessively informative and nor it can be compared with the likes of some bestselling literary works. What makes me read it is the subject-matter of the story and the fact i.e. how close the writer is with the protagonist himself. If you come to know that the America’s dream hero Walt Disney is a real-time friend of the writer then anything about Walt from his mouth will grab un-presidential attentions, regardless of how well or how unprofessionally he presented the story.

In his article “Walt ‘N Me”, Caudwell simply narrated his fondest memories, specially his encounters with Walt Disney as a friend. There were sweet narrations of how he met Walt as a child and how their friendship grew and off-course the influences and the wonderful times he had spent with Walt Disney. Reading the story, you will find that the writer is one of the luckiest kids enjoying the incredible creations with the creator himself as his guide, back in those good old days of the 60s. And the irony is the kid was not aware of the identity of his new-found friend with whom he is enjoying Disneyland for the first time in life.

One of the most striking facts that come to my mind reading the story is no matter how big and famous you are it is always the simplicity in you and optimistic approach to life that determines real success. Walt Disney has all these qualities and he proved it with what he does best. He has the ability to deliver real happiness to people from all walks of life by being a part of them. Despite being such an important and busy figure, he is caring enough to spare quality time with a kid he just met. He is a firm believer of doing what he wanted to do. Had he endorsed excuses for his works, his passionate dreams might never have turned into such wonderful creations (Disney Animations & Disney Theme Parks) the World have today. Another interesting point about Walt that I came to know from the story is his personal favorite, which is none other than “Peter Pan”. Walt enjoys life like the eternal child that never grows up and this might be the reason for his success in transmitting happiness with such magical influences.
