‘The Purge,’ ‘Halloween 4’ and ‘The Walking Dead’ added to Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror
Universal Studios Hollywood has announced another batch of mazes for its annual Halloween Horror Nights, which kicks off on Thursday, Sept. 9 and runs on select evenings through Sunday, Oct. 31.
The Universal Tram will be transformed into Terror Tram: The Ultimate Purge, which will take patrons on a journey through the various films in “The Purge” franchise on the Universal backlot. Michael Myers is back in action as the theme park revives the “Halloween” films with an attraction based on “Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers” that will have guests running through Haddonfield as Myers hunts his niece, Jamie.
In honor of the kick-off of the 11th season of AMC’s hit zombie show, “The Walking Dead,” on Aug. 22 Halloween Horror Nights will bring back a walker-filled maze based on the hit television series. The “America’s Best Dance Crew” winners, Jabbawockeez, will return to the park as well with its high-energy, horror-themed, special effects dance show.
