Pete – you may want to mention on the podcast that donations may be matched by certain employers. Our $100 was matched by my company.

I'm with Craig on F&W and I'm not even a local. We planned our trip this year to arrive right as F&W is ending. We don't care for it anymore. We prefer Epcot when it isn't going on and we can enjoy World Showcase without the festival crowds.

Hmmmm.. ABC is owned by Disney and have you seen Scandal Greys Anatomy HTGAWM.. that’s def not Disney.. so there will still be a place for the non Disney stuff

Not really bothered about the Halloween party, did it once and was not happy that a good 80%, no exaggeration, of the people in the Town Square area watching the headless horseman parade were not partygoers, because when it finished they all left and we are talking 9.30. Now people are in the park, they have to leave as they don't have tickets but as they get closer to the exit the parade is due to start, they have kids lets hang around and see if we can catch some of the parade, but 80%, not on. at $80 a ticket thats just not fair. And if cast members had looked they didn't have the wristbands on so easy enough to move them on.
Anyway love Food & Wine, and going this October so very excited, plus got the Dining Plan so hoping that the kiosks will be snack credits.

Disney did not buy Fox so they can nix their R rated properties. That’d be insane. Any franchises, especially R rated ones, will either be under the Fox branding or they’ll make another sub-studio to put them out (ie Miramax, Dimension, etc).

"I don't want to be a Pirate" lmao got to be a fan to know what Craig is talking about. First thing I thought of too.

Aside from Jar Jar Binks, what was so awful about the prequels? These films were meant to give us history and backstory to explain how we arrived to the original films. The prequels did their job well. These last two films are garbage, and destroyed Lucas' vision and overall intellectual property. Solo the movie was horrible. I'm not impressed by Disney's direction with the Star Wars franchise (Rogue One is the exception).

My biggest problem is the monopolization of the industry and the effect on the output of creativity. I know everyone harps on the fact that Disney intends to keep a sector of the studio movies rated R but when there are only 4 major studios left the output will be greatly diminished just by simple logic. Your consolidating two major studios. You have less people taking risks on films and having the financial backing of a major studio. While yes, the internet has made producing film a more accessible there is still the disadvantage of not having studio money behind it. And Disney will always Disneyfy it. That's what they do. They did it with Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm. Internally the Disney ethos is interjected into everything they do.

I’m with Craig on his opinion of food & wine festival. During my last visit at this time I was thrown up on by a guest in the park . Found all kinds of rude walking ( staggering ) around , some with children in tow. Vowed I’d never return for this time again .

I completely agree with Craig, I hate Food and Wine. once you have been vomited on at Food and Wine it sours you a bit on the entire event.
