Los Angeles Hollywood, A Vacation with the Stars

Everyone considers the ultimate vacation destination to be Hollywood in Los Angeles California. This is because everyone in the world shares one thing in common, and that is the love of television and movies. It is, perhaps, the only interest that the global population shares. Everyone watches TV and goes to the Cinema. With that one common interest, that leaves Hollywood as one of the world’s top vacation considerations. Of course, Los Angeles realizes this and has gone to great strides to make certain that there are plenty of attractions to keep the movie fan busy.
The Mann’s Chinese Theatre
The Mann’s Chinese Theatre is one of the favorite stopovers while visiting Hollywood. One reason is that it borders the walk of fame, a sidewalk pathway with thousands of celebrity names, footprints and handprints in it. The Mann’s Chinese theatre is one of the few theatres in town where first run movies are played, thus having been visited by thousands of movie stars. Soon, this eastern style building will become the permanent home for the famed event, the Academy Awards. If celebrity life fascinates you, this is a must visit establishment. Who knows, the seat that you are sitting in, watching your movie could have been, and likely was, used by a big movie star at one point or another!
The Hollywood Sign
Then there is the one major attraction where you will want to bring your camera, the Hollywood sign. Located high on a mountain in the legendary Griffith Park, this has become the symbol of Hollywood. When one thinks about this great cinematic region of Los Angeles, one pictures this monument first. Everyone who visits makes certain that they get their picture taken at the base of one of the letters.
Universal Studios Hollywood
Perhaps the most sought after attraction in all of Los Angeles, there is the Universal Studios Hollywood Theme Park. Here you will find a multitude of awesome fun filled adventures for your entire family! There is the Revenge of the Mummy Ride, The Shrek 4-D Show, Jurassic Park Ride, Fear Factor Live, Terminator 2 3-D Show, Waterworld, Nickelodeon Blast Zone, the spooky House of Horrors, the Universal’s Animal Actors exhibit and so many more. This could be either an all day activity or even a two or three day journey. With hundreds of rides, attractions and exhibits to choose from, be sure and prepare for an all day visit at the least. There are also vendors within the park so you can pick up a few items to remember the trip by. Don’t worry about getting hungry while you are here, as there are an abundance of snack vendors and diners within the park itself.
