Disneyland Resort Receives Citizenship and Environmental Awards
The Disneyland Resort was recently awarded the Legacy Award for its long-standing commitment to providing superior corporate citizenship in Orange County at OneOC’s inaugural Orange County Civic 50, presented by the Orange County Business Journal. The Civic 50 Orange County recognized the 50 most community-minded companies in Orange County. Each year, the Disneyland Resort donates nearly $20 million to local nonprofits and cast members volunteer at hundreds of community events.
The Resort also received the Van Vlahakis Sustainability Excellence Award from SustainOC, which focuses on creating a sustainable future for Orange County. The award honored the Resort for going above and beyond to advance environmental initiatives.
